In a 10/14 article on “The Art of Survival” Exhibit at Newbury College the Mass Media unintentionally overlooked the curator of the exhibit, Dr. Claire Cummings.

Due to a reporting error, a 10/7 article “Faculty Blast Race Report” truncated a quote of Professor Steve Schwartz, possibly leading to some confusion. Schwartz said that the “important manifestation of our Urban Mission is to provide an excellent and accessible education to the population of the greater Boston area” and the research and public service that “contribute directly or indirectly to the well-being of the people and communities in the greater Boston area and the Commonwealth” are not in conflict, but complement each other.

The Mass Media regrets the oversights and error.
