At 3-6 p.m. on April 18, the office of Chris Fitzgerald, the director of UMass Boston’s intramurals and recreation programs, is sponsoring a pool party in the Clark Athletic Center. The first 100 students to arrive will get free pizza; the first 50 will also get free sunglasses.
The party planners have arranged for music and games, including Pong, water volleyball, and water basketball. Signs directing students to the pool will be up in the Clark Center the day of the event.
The party is intended to promote the use of this valuable community resource for exercise and for play by members of the university community.
