Monday 9/9/2013

12:21 p.m.

An officer reported that an injured goose that was hit by a car was causing traffic issues. The Animal Rescue League was notified and the goose was rescued. 

1:17 p.m.

A report was filed for a smoldering trash can at the top of a Clark Athletic Center stairwell. An officer put the trash can out with a fire extinguisher. 

1:44 p.m.

A party called to state that there was a person in the Ross Center lobby who was unable to stand. The caller stated that the party appeared to be about to pass out. The party suffered from anxiety. An officer tried breathing exercises to calm party down.

2:19 p.m.

A party reported that items had been taken from a rented locker to the Department of Public Safety. An officer found that the individual did not rent a locker but had been using an empty one. Student Activities took the belongings back to their office.

6:04 p.m.

The staff from the Beacon gym called to notify that a white male wearing a white t-shirt and blue and black gym shorts may have been going through people’s belongings in the gym. Officers arrived and no property was stolen. 

Tuesday 9/10/2013

11:13 a.m.

A call was made at the General Academic Building 1 construction site to inform the Department of Public Safety that an ambulance was on its way for a party with high blood pressure. Party complained of chest pains to the Boston fire crew and was transported to Tufts Medical Center.

12:35 p.m.

Party called to state their windshield wipers were taken off their car while parked in Lot C.

1:02 p.m.

Party reported that the rental car they were driving was hit on Sept. 5 while parked in Lot C. Party brought their car for an officer to take pictures of the damage and complete a report.

5:32 p.m.

A party reported that he was uncomfortable with the behavior of an older woman in the computer lab. The woman insisted that she knew the person in charge of the lab.

10:18 a.m.

A party reported that their passport had been taken on Sept. 3 from McCormack Hall.

8:46 p.m.

 A party stated they fell in a pot hole near the south lot Sept. 10 at 5:40 p.m. Party was transported to South Lot to find the location of the pot hole.

11:15 a.m.

A police officer was called to Lot D to take a report on a vandalized car.

A party from IT called to report two people screaming in a classroom.

9:23 p.m.

A vehicle was disabled on Bianculli Blvd. Party called for assistance.
