Only Miss California…Did you miss the Miss America Competition on Sunday April 19th? If so, you missed more than a bikini contest but a ridiculous showing of the opinions of Miss California Carrie Prejean. Prejean was asked by Judge Perez Hilton about her stance in gay marriage in America and her answer not only stunned America but lost her the crown. She was first runner up to Miss North Carolina, Kristen Dalton, whose answer didn’t piss off the judge. Prejean’s response to Hilton’s question was this, “”In my country, and in my family, I believe that a marriage should be between a man and a woman” followed by “No offense to anyone out there”. Although this is America and we do value free speech, we also value intelligence and girlfriend, if you were trying to win Miss America, you did not go about it in the most intelligent way. Prejean admits that the response lost her the crown. Um, yeah, ya think?
