Beacon senior forward Vinnie Jacona returns for hopefully another successful campaign. During his junior season, Jacona lead the team with 10 goals, good enough for 11th in the ECAC. He is also coming off 19 points, which was good enough for third on the team. That being said, how does Jacona get himself ready for a game? The MassMedia caught up with Jacona and this is what he said
VC:On Friday game day I start with a pre-game meal, usually a pasta dinner. Once we arrive at the arena I like to tape my game stick while listening to some music to get my self-pumped up. Then a bunch of the guys like to get in a circle and start to juggle a soccer ball to get us going. We follow that up with a team dynamic warm up, where we stretch and run to get our bodies ready for the game. Once everyone is warmed up we head back into locker to focus on what we need to do to be prepared for the game.
