A faculty member called in to the campus police to report a disturbance in the McCormack theater. The disturber in question left the area by the time the police got there. The report of disorderly conduct was made at 5:20 p.m.
Monday, Nov 14
Reports of rocks being thrown off of the Wheatley Building onto cars in the South Lot were called in to the campus police at 6:09 p.m. No arrests made.
Thursday, Nov 17
A caller reported smelling marijuana in Wheatley on the 1st floor. Although the suspected substance abuse was investigated, the report was unfounded.
Friday, Nov 18
Alarm in Wheatley activated at 11:30 p.m. The area was checked and secured.
Tuesday, Nov 22
At 1:16 p.m. a party called in to the campus police to report a laptop computer was stolen. The report and call were placed from the science center and were regarding a past larceny.
Late the same day, a taxi driver called to report a patron who was attempting to evade paying for the taxi’s services.
Wednesday, Nov 23
At 10:57 a.m. a call was placed to the campus police from the McCormack Building Beacon Fitness Center. The Beacon Fitness manager reported a male party refusing to comply with rules regarding entrance to the fitness center. Though the party was asked to leave and despite the manager telling the party they were advising campus police, he did not leave. When the units were called the party had left and the manager didn’t request any further action be taken.
Later the same day, at noon, there was a call from the information desk in the Campus Center reporting a man who was worried that there was a woman being harassed in the South Lot. The only description of the woman was that she was carrying a laptop. Officers located a woman fitting that description. When the officers asked her if anything was wrong, she answered that she was fine and showed no signs of distress.
