Avaloi, an English and Classical studies major, is getting a minor in style. This undergrad displays her interesting and offbeat taste in rolled J. Crew cargo pants, dark Jeffrey Campbell leather booties and a dust orange chiffon blouse from H&M.

Her accessories include the staple black ‘Le Pliage’ tote from Longchamp, a braided brown leather belt from Gap, and an array of colorful and classic bracelets and rings.

Pulling everything together nicely is a wrap headband from Forever 21 with a combined paisley and tribal print adding a quirky and cool appeal.

When it comes to buying her standout ensembles, Avaloi said she enjoys resale shops like The Closet and Rescue on Newbury St., as well as stores like H&M, Banana Republic, French Connection and American Apparel.

She says, “Basically, if I see something I like, I’ll buy it.” When asked to describe her style Avaloi said, “I never fit a mold. Everyday I’m something different. As a friend once said to me, I’m a style chameleon.” Switching it up is key to keeping her style intriguing.
