Dorchester Open Studios 2002 will take place the weekend of October 26 and 27, 2002. The event will be launched with a gala reception on Friday, October 25th, at the Great Hall in Codman Square.This year marks the first time that studios Dorchester-wide have participated in the Boston Open Studios Coalition, whose Open Studios 2002 starts in September and runs ten weekends to the first weekend in December. For many years the artists at Pearl Street Studios have represented all Dorchester artists, This year over 70 Dorchester artists will be exhibiting in 14 locations for Dorchester Open Studios 2002.
