The Ellsberg Memoirs
Former Marine and Defense Intelligence Agency analyst Daniel Ellsberg, famous for leaking United States government secrets of Vietnam, will be here at UMass Boston to promote and discuss his new book, Secrets: A Memoir of Vietnam and the Pentagon Papers.
Ellsberg, speaking on government secrecy and war in the context of the current Iraq crisis, will be in the Healy Library’s 8th Floor Conference Room at 3pm, Monday, March 3, 2003.
The event is sponsored by the William Joiner Center for the Study of War and Social Consequences and the John W. McCormack Institute of Public Affairs.

Starting February 25, The Boston Herald will have free copies at the McCormack Hall Information Booth, Wit’s End Café, the Administration Building’s Upper Level Entrance, and the catwalk between the McCormack Building and the Science Building.

Tylenol for Headaches, Colds, and Scholarships
The 2003 Tylenol Scholarship will be awarding grants totaling $250,000, including ten of $10,000 each, to 160 undergraduate and graduate students in health-related fields.

“Rosie the Riveter” At Charlestown
On Saturday, March 8 at 2pm, the Boston National Historic Park at the Charlestown Navy Yard will be offering a historical presentation of “Rosie the Riveter,” the symbol of women industrial workers during World War II.
The 45-minute presentation is free and handicapped-accessible, with free parking. The program is offered at the Charlestown Navy Yard Visitor Center, adjacent to the USS Constitution at 55 Constitution Road in the Bunker Hill Pavilion.
