The second victim named in the bombing at the Boston Marathon, Medford resident Krystle Campbell, transferred to UMass Boston from Mass Bay Community College in 2005. Campbell, a sociology major, studied at the university until 2007. She did not graduate from the school.

Campbell’s boyfriend ran in Monday’s race. She was waiting for him at the finish line near Copley Square when two explosive devices went off, killing three people and injuring over 170.

She would have turned 30 on May 3rd.
