A husband and wife who work in McCormack Hall reported items missing from both of their desks.

Someone called about a backpack and laptop that appeared to have been abandoned in the Campus Center, but the Department of Public Safety could not find these items.

An elderly man with a history of heart disease called for help because he felt he was about to pass out. An ambulance took him to Boston Medical Center.

Two people snuck onto the roof of the Science Building. Officers told them to come inside and warned them not to go out on top of the building again.

A lit cigarette caused a small brush fire on Bianculli Boulevard, near the JFK Library.

A worker in the Bursar’s Office accidentally set off the alarm.

Officers received a complaint about cars without a handicapped placard parked in handicap spots.

A woman got stuck in an elevator in McCormack Hall.

Department of Public Safety received a complaint about noisy students on the 3rd floor of the Campus Center. When officers arrived, the students explained that they were practicing a dance.

Officers received a call about a blue cooler left unattended in the Campus Center Ballrooms. When officers arrived, a person in the ballroom claimed the cooler.

A middle-aged man complaining of chest pain was taken by ambulance to Boston Medical Center.

4/25/2013 3:42 p.m.

Emergency services came to the aid of a man having heart palpitations on the road leading up to the JFK Library. The man, who had a history of anxiety, refused an ambulance.

4/26/2013 12:22 p.m.

A man called the Department of Public Safety to report a man punching another man in the Beacon Parking Lot. When officers arrived on the scene, a tollbooth attendant informed them that he had been telling a story, using his hands for emphasis.

A woman reported her phone stolen.

4/26/2013 2:03 p.m.

A man reported his sunglasses stolen.

4/26/2013 9:58 p.m.

Officers caught a driver doing donuts in Lot A and issued the driver a warning.

4/27/2013 12:53 a.m.

A man was found hiding in the North Lot tollbooth. Officers who found him discovered that he had two outstanding warrants for his arrest. He was arrested and transported to MBTA Transit Police.

4/27/2013 7:18 p.m.

The Department of Public Safety received a hangup call from Lot D. When officers checked the lot, nobody was there.

Officers got another call from Lot D. They checked the lot again. There was still nobody in the lot.
