A student accidentally left her car idling in Lot D.

4/29/2013 9:03 p.m.

Someone was caught driving with a suspended license on Mt. Vernon Street and given a criminal citation.

4/30/2013 10:21 a.m.

A caller reported a metal thermos placed near a fire extinguisher in the Science Building, but by the time officers came to investigate, the thermos was gone.

4/30/2013 1:24 p.m.

A student reported her textbooks stolen.

4/30/2013 2:03 p.m.

A man was stopped for driving the wrong way on University Drive South, and officers discovered that he also did not have an active license. The man left his car with the Department of Public Safety and came back with a friend with an active license who could drive him home.

4/30/2013 5:23 p.m.

A man sat in the corner near an elevator in the Campus Center. A woman at the Information Desk stated that he looked ill, and did not respond to staff members who approached him twice. When officers arrived, the man was gone.

4/30/2013 5:37 p.m.

A student found the man lying on the floor of the men’s bathroom on the 3rd floor of the Campus Center. The man was unresponsive, had dilated eyes, and could not walk. He was transported to Boston Medical Center by ambulance.

4/30/2013 1:42 p.m.

A pregnant woman in the Campus Center ballroom experienced stomach pains, but refused medical attention.

4/30/2013 5:49 p.m.

A man called the Department of Public Safety saying that he had a nosebleed. The dispatcher informed him that officers were out on another medical call, and asked if he could make it to Health Services on his own, or to the station, where he could get further assistance. The man said that he would come into the station, but called emergency services on his own before he reached his destination. He was transported by ambulance to Boston Medical Center.

A person refused to pay a $12 fee for staying in the Short Term Parking Lot for over an hour.

5/1/2013 2:43 p.m.

A woman was found sitting on the wall of the plaza near Wheatley, with her legs over the side. Officers told her to put her legs back over the side for her own safety.

5/1/2013 4:01 p.m.

A worker in the admissions office was handed what she believed to be a bullet casing by a student. 

5/1/2013 4:20 p.m.

Someone reported a lost passport.

5/1/2013 6:59 p.m.

A woman reported that her windshield had a crack in it.

5/1/2013 9:17 p.m.

During a routine motor vehicle stop, officers discovered that the driver had a default warrant out for his failure to appear as a witness in court for a criminal case. The driver had already started up his car again by the time officers had finished running his plates, so the officers stopped him again in front of the offices Boston Globe and arrested him.

5/2/2013 12:53 p.m.

A student entered the Clark Athletic Center Gym through a side entrance and was asked to leave.

5/2/2013 3:55 p.m.

Some mulch caught fire, and the fire was put out.

The mulch caught fire again, and the fire was put out again.

5/3/2012 12:21 p.m.

A woman called the Department of Public Safety stating that she had been in a minor accident and wanted officers present while she and the other owner of the other vehicle exchanged paperwork. When officers arrived, both the vehicles and the owners were gone.

5/3/2013 6:35 p.m.

A faculty member came in to the station saying that he could not find his wife. Officers found his wife in the Campus Center Circle.
