A student lost the key to his or her locker, but police were able to force the lock open.

1/28/2013 12:52 p.m.

A student called Campus Police to report that the elevator doors on the 11th floor of the Healey Library would not open. Police advised her to take the staircase to her destination. 

1/28/2013 1:03 p.m.

Two parties argued with staff in the undergraduate admissions office, yelling and making a scene. Officers referred the parties to the Office of Student Affairs.

A car was keyed on the passenger side door and passenger front fender in Lot C. 

1/28/2013 8:09 p.m.

A steam pipe broke in the Campus Center, setting off the smoke alarm. Campus Facilities and the Boston Fire Department were called. 

1/29/2013 12:00 p.m.

A leopard-print Infiniti scarf was stolen from the area in front of the Information Desk in the Campus Center.

1/29/2013 12:39 p.m.

A faculty member had a mini-stroke in the Campus Center and was taken by ambulance to Boston Medical Center.

A student stated that a possibly homeless man was sleeping on the 11th floor of the Healey Library. Police arrived and determined that the man was a faculty member.

1/30/2013 7:20 a.m.

A steam pipe burst on the Lower Level of the Healey Library, causing the fire alarm to go off.

1/30/2013 8:06 a.m.

Two cars collided in the South Lot. Officers took a statement from both parties.

1/30/2013 11:51 a.m.

A professor called Campus Safety because he forgot his locker combination. When police arrived, he remembered his locker combination.

1/30/2013 2:21 p.m.

A worker in Parking and Transportation called to report that someone had paid his or her parking fee with counterfeit money.

1/30/2013 4:06 p.m.

A small amount of illegal drugs were found in a car during a routine stop on University Drive. The drugs were destroyed.

2/1/2013 9:57 a.m.

The Dean of Students reported that a student had been making threats on Twitter. Officers went to the student’s home to investigate but were unable to find him or her.

2/1/2013 2:00 p.m.

A minor accident took place on University Drive.

2/2/2013 8:38 a.m.

Police officers met with a faculty member in the English department in regards to a threat that was made in the past.
