Cheng Han, a freshman management major, recently moved to Boston from Jilin, China, where he put together the majority of this sharp-looking outfit. A fashion blog follower and frequent online shopper, Han describes his personal style as “clean and neat” without too many graphics. Han primarily finds style ideas through blogging but also draws inspiration from the sleek street style of Korean pop group Big Bang, as well as from the fashion scene in Hong Kong.
To Han, American style comes down to lots of skinny jeans and fitted fashions, which he likes. During his first few weeks in Boston, he made it a point to check out Newbury Street in the Back Bay, where was pleased to discover Urban Outfitters. It was there that he found his black snapback baseball cap.
As for the rest of Han’s accessories, his square-framed glasses are from Shanghai, and his studded leather backpack, made by MCM, is from Korea. The royal blue backpack adds a fun pop of color to his otherwise earth-toned ensemble, and his bleached blonde hair and spiked out accessories give Han’s clean cut style a ‘90s punk edge that caught our attention.
