5:51 a.m. Public Safety assisted Boston Fire and Boston EMS at the Morrissey Blvd. rotary for a motor vehicle accident.
2/10/2014
5:49 p.m. Public Safety arrived to McCormack Hall for a vomiting female. Female declined transport by Boston EMS to hospital and Unnico was called to clean up.
6:28 p.m. A male was arrested after a motor vehicle stop. Upon running his license, party was found to have an outstanding warrant. The male was transported to the MBTA Transit Police near Andrew Station.

11:39 a.m. Party called about a hit and run accident. Party will file with their insurance company.
12:41 p.m. A female came to Public Safety to report that her purse had been stolen from the 2nd floor print station in the Campus Center around 11 a.m. Public Safety and the female went back to the Campus Center and were able to locate the purse.
2:06 p.m. A female came to Public Safety to report that money had been stolen from her pocketbook.
3:56 p.m. A party called Public Safety to report that there was an unattended duffle bag in McCormack Hall. Bag ended up having gym clothes in it.
9:21 p.m. A female called saying that she heard a female screaming near the parking lot. Upon arrival, officers found no such person.
9:40 p.m. A female came to the Public Safety office to report that she believed that her purse was stolen from the café in the Campus Center.
10:53 p.m. A female came to the Public Safety office reporting that she had fallen in Wheatley Hall.
2/12/2014
2:17 p.m. Public Safety was called to the Campus Center for a report of a male sleeping in the Point Lounge. The male had no ID, was not a UMass Boston student, and would not leave the premises. The male and a female relocated themselves to the rear of the Upper Level in the Campus Center. After being found again by Public Safety, both parties were told not to return after hours.
9:55 a.m. UMass Boston facilities found an unattended luggage bag in the maintenance catwalk near the ballroom in the Campus Center. Public Safety, upon arrival, noticed that the bag was the same that had been discovered in the Snowden Auditorium in a piano a week previously. International and Transnational Affairs was contacted and it was discovered that the owner had not been a student at UMass Boston for a year and was told to fix his governmental paperwork.
9:52 p.m. Upon a motor vehicle stop, it was discovered that the driver was operating the vehicle without a license. The driver was arrested and transported to the MBTA Transit Police near Andrew Station for lockup.
2/14/2014
2:30 p.m. Officers were called to the Campus Center for a report of a male screaming, banging on doors, and being disruptive. Counseling services arrived at the scene to help the male.
5:36 p.m. Public Safety received a call from State Police saying that a female had called after she recieved a text from her friend saying that she was feeling faint. Officers found the party in the Quinn Building and Boston Fire and Boston EMS were called. The female was transported by Boston EMS to an area hospital.
5:55 p.m. Public Safety received a call for a suspicious person walking in and out of the men’s bathroom in McCormack Hall. When officers arrived, the man was gone.

8:29 a.m. Officers found a car in the Upper Level roadway of the Quinn Building that had been hit by cement and that the car had received damage, including a smashed windshield.

5:37 p.m. A party called to report that dancers on the terrace of the Campus Center were creating too much noise. When officers arrived the dancers left the area.
2/18/2014
8:37 a.m. Public Safety received a call stating that a male was agitated and was upset in the cafeteria in the Campus Center. After talking to the male, it was found that the male was just complaining about the quality of the food.
9:51 a.m. Public Safety received a call about a party of people playing with a soccer ball. The caller complained that the people had almost hit some passerbys in the plaza in between the Campus Center and Wheatley Hall. Officers told the party to stop playing soccer at that location.
3:31 p.m. A caller called Public Safety after seeing what they believed to be a suspicious male walking in circles and repeatedly get up and sit down in the Campus Center. The caller called Public Safety again to cancel the officers saying that their boss had spoken with the male and that he was OK. Officer checked the general area, but the male had left before their arrival.

1:59 p.m. Public Safety was called for a male who seemed to be in distress and was walking back and forth in the area behind the coffee shop in the Healey Library. Officers talked to that male who turned out to be stressed about school work.

1:06 a.m. A woman walked in to Public Safety to report that her wheel had popped off her rental car on the road to the Massachusetts Archives.

3:06 a.m. Public Safety received a call from UMass Dartmouth regarding a foreign student who couldn’t be located by his family abroad. Student was reached and was advised to call his family.
9:06 a.m. A female came to the Public Safety office to report that her iPhone had been stolen.
10:22 a.m. A female came to the Public Safety office to report that her car had been damaged while it was parked in the South Parking Lot.
6:57 p.m. A male came to the Public Safety office to report that his car had been hit in the South Parking Lot the previous day.
10:09 p.m. Public Safety was called to do a well-being check on a male who was intoxicated and sitting in the Lot D Parking Lot. The male was transported by Boston EMS to an area hospital.

12:26 a.m. Public Safety was called to the Science Center for a party who was walking around in the lobby. When officers arrived, the party attempted to walk away. Officers then took the party to the JFK/UMass MBTA Station.
2/25/2014
9:33 a.m. Public Safety was called to the Quinn Administration Building for an elderly male who was moving around constantly and who the caller believed to be confused. Officers talked to the male and it was found that he was waiting for someone.
1:40 p.m. Public Safety was called to the Healey Library for three people stuck in an elevator.
4:45 p.m. A party walked in to the Public Safety office to report that their iPad Mini had been stolen.
6:01 p.m. A phone call was received by Public Safety that a male was driving fast around the Beacon Parking Lot and was honking the car horn while yelling out the window.

8:21 a.m. A bus driver reported an altercation between a male and a female outside the Campus Center.
8:39 a.m. A staff member tripped and fell into an elevator that was not level with the floor. The staff member refused medical attention and was walked to their office. Customer Service and facilities were both notified about the incident.
10:25 am A staff member called to report a party was having a seizure in a bathroom. Party was vomitting. Party requested assistance to Health Services to call their doctor.

11:23 a.m. A female tripped and twisted her ankle near the sail shop in McCormack Hall. Boston EMS arrived and female was transported to an area hospital.
4:15 p.m. Public Safety received a call for the bookstore about a party refusing to leave.
5:55 p.m. Public Safety received was called about a male having a panic attack in the Science Center. Boston EMS transported male to an area hospital.

6:11 a.m. A party called Public Safety complaining that a male was outside the Campus Center screaming. Male left when his taxi showed up.

11:57 a.m. Public Safety was called by Boston Police for a report of an issue about housing by UMass Boston students. Officers discovered that there was a miscommunication between parties about rent and living space. The issue was found to be be between students and the landlords who were away at the time.
3/4/2014
3:54 p.m. The manager of the bookstore called Public Safety regarding a male who was harrasing employees. The male, who refused to leave, was being passively aggressive. This same male had been told the Friday before to leave as well by the management. The male had left when the officers had arrived.
4:26 p.m. A party came to the Public Safety office to report that that a phone had been stolen from the Campus Center.
7:09 p.m. A caller called Public Safety to report that his car had been vandalized in the South Lot.
7:30 p.m. Officers found a party drinking in the women’s bathroom in the Clark Athletic Center. The party was underage.

11:26 a.m. Officers were called to the Bank of America ATM in the Quinn Administration Building to find a counterfeit bill had showed up in the Parking & Transportation account.
1:53 p.m. Public Safety was called to the Beacon Parking Lot for a motor vehicle accident. When officers arrived they found that one of the parties had driven off before their arrival and that the remaining car had no obvious damage.
3:54 p.m. A male came to the Public Safety office to report that his cell phone had been stolen from the Campus Center.
3/7/2014
1:37 a.m. Officers were called to a classroom in the McCormack Building for a male party that had been sleeping there for three nights. Unnico complained that they couldn’t clean the room because of the male. Officers escorted the male off campus and was told to leave.
1:46 p.m. An officer reported that a truck was at the Campus Center loading dock and the driver was giving out electronic cigarettes. When another officer arrived, the truck was no longer there.
1:59 p.m. After conducting a motor vehicle stop, the driver was arrested for an outstanding warrant and was transported to the MBTA Transit Police station near Andrew Station for lockup.
4:28 p.m. A party came to the Public Safety office to report a stolen iPad.

1:16 p.m. Boston Fire Department was called to the Plaza Garage Utility Plant for an alarm going off. The alarm was going off due to a bad sprinkler valve.
