Spotted on the empty hallways of the McCormack Building during a dreary afternoon, Ludovica Bonelli, a junior from Italy, majoring in Political Science, was dressed to impress, despite the wet weather.
Bonelli bought most of her outfit in Italy, but she did recall that she bought her black shorts locally at Rainbows.
Some familiar brands Bonelli frequents are H&M, Zara, and Guess. Like every other die-hard fashionista, she fawns over luxury brands like Gucci, Louis Vuitton, Prada, and Burberry. A girl can dream, right?
Bonelli seeks style inspiration from style icons Rihanna, Victoria Secret models, and Cara Delevingne.
“It’s completely different. Italians, we are kind of obsessed with that. We never really go out without being dressed up,” said Bonelli about the difference between American and Italian fashion.
“I strongly believe that people should be well-dressed, no matter the style.”
Her fashion advice to others is a universal truth: “People should wear things that fit their body, so their body looks more harmonious.”
