Sabina Lindsey, a freshman theater major, was spotted rocking a stand-out orange blazer over a solid-black top, high-waisted circle skirt, and leopard-print tights — all from Forever 21. Her platform shoes are T.U.K. Creepers from Journeys, and her chandelier earrings and Alex and Ani friendship bracelet add a bit of glamour to her edgy-alternative look.
As for places Lindsey likes to shop, Urban Outfitters, American Apparel, and PacSun are a few of her favorites. She describes her personal style as “indie and chill,” adding that she frequently turns to Tumblr, Pinterest, and Nylon Magazine for fashion inspiration. She admires Lana Del Rey’s ability to mix ’60s Mod style with more current looks of today.
“I think style is a really good way to express yourself, as cliché as that sounds,” she said. “It’s a freedom that everyone should take advantage of — just wear what you want without caring about what other people think.”
