New England’s record snowfall has not only impacted our daily schedules and commute, it has also had an effect on our fashion choices. Dahye Song, a transfer student who hopes to major in accounting, was spotted while on a casual walk through the campus catwalk.
Song’s outfit—which was mostly purchased in Korea—is the perfect combination of style and comfort. She layers her printed black t-shirt under a checkered gray, salt and pepper sweater and a fashion-forward black fur vest. Song completes her attire with these winter necessities: gray wool leggings, leopard-print Doc Martens, a black pom-pom beanie, and an orange Rebecca Minkoff backpack for a pop of color.
“I’m really interested in fashion because I’m from Korea and Koreans really like fashion,” said Song. “I really like simple things but I [also] like funny things.”
When asked how she would describe her style, Song’s answer is no surprise: “Comfort and convenience because nowadays [there’s] heavy snow.”
