A new semester means everyone on campus––for a brief and glorious time––is looking their best and most put-together (that is, until the stress kicks in). Although everyone deserves credit for putting the work in, junior Sheila Gonzalez shined in her chic ensemble while heading out of Campus Center.
Gonzalez layered a flowy and elegant white cardigan from H&M over a heather grey top from Express, and added a pop of color with mustard high-waisted pants from Forever21. Her shoes, a classic cognac that goes with just about anything, were purchased at Forever21 as well.
Having worked at Forever21 in the past, Gonzalez used to do much of her shopping at the retail giant. However, looking for a change, she shifted to Zara, H&M, and Express, which is where she now works. She also frequents online stores, her favorite being Missguided (missguidedus.com).
“I get my inspiration from fashion blogs. I’m always on YouTube, always on Instragram, and always on Tumblr,” Gonzalez said. “My favorite Youtuber is Shirley B. Eniang, who does a lot of makeup and fashion tutorials. I’m always looking at her stuff and put it together with my own style.”
When asked whose celebrity wardrobe she would absolutely love to have, Gonzalez did not hesitate to say Kourtney Kardashian.
“I wish I could dress really ‘boho’ like she does––I love it. She’s my inspiration,” Gonzalez said.
