UMASS BOSTON’S ZEQO NAMED LITTLE EAST CONFERENCE MEN’S SOCCER OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK AGAIN
PROVIDENCE, RI – University of Massachusetts Boston men’s soccer player Romeo Zeqo (Medford, MA) has been named Little East Conference Men’s Soccer Offensive Player of the Week for his play during the week of October 16-22, it was announced today. It’s the second time that the sophomore has earned the award this season. He also captured the award for the week of September 4-10.

BUZZARDS BAY, MA – Freshman middle hitter Natalie Crist (Santa Maria, CA) smashed a match-high 17 kills and hit a blistering .467 for the match, while sophomore setter Randle Stock (Hopkinton, MA) set for 40 assists to lead the University of Massachusetts Boston volleyball team over Massachusetts Maritime Academy, 30-11, 30-27, 30-27, tonight in Buzzards Bay, MA on the campus of Mass. Maritime. The Beacons improve their record to 18-10 on the season, their second-most wins in school history, while the Buccaneers fall to 6-9.
UMASS BOSTON VOLLEYBALL SPLITS IN LITTLE EAST ROUND ROBIN
BOSTON, MA – The University of Massachusetts Boston volleyball team split a pair of matches in a Little East Conference round robin, defeating Plymouth State University, 30-24, 25-30, 30-24, 30-27 and falling to University of Massachusetts Dartmouth, 28-30, 19-30, 30-23, 30-23, 15-4, today at the Clark Athletic Center on the campus of UMass Boston. The Beacons are now 17-10 overall, for their best record since 1999 when they were 22-5, and 2-3 in the LEC. Plymouth State defeated UMass Dartmouth, 30-24, 30-32, 30-13, 30-21, during the day and is now 15-10 and 4-3, while UMass Dartmouth is 10-12 and 1-4.
