On Wednesday April 11 Professor Paul Tucker, curator of Arts on the Point, and Umass Boston welcomed Dorothy Litchenstein, widow of artist Roy Litchenstein, to campus for a reception to welcome the newest piece of art to campus. Back in February Roy Litchenstein’s “Brushstroke Group”, a large sculpture that now resides in front of the Campus Center, was installed here at UMB. Next week, we will feature an in depth interview with Mrs. Litchenstein.
