Winehouse WithheldAmy Winehouse was scheduled to appear at the mtvU Woodie Awards in New York City on Thursday the 8th, but her trip has been cancelled. She is apparently having difficulties with her visa, and is unable to travel to the United States. Might this have anything to do with her recent arrest on ac charge of marijuana possession in Norway? We may never know the truth.

Colbert for Presidential CandidateStephen Colbert, from the popular Colbert Report on Comedy Central, has followed through on his announcement of running for President. He has filed himself officially as a Democratic candidate in South Carolina, his home state. Colbert has been reported as claiming he plans on running in both the Democratic and Republican parties, “in order to have the fun of losing twice,” as eonline.com put it.

Drew For Legal DrugsMany celebrities have drug addiction problems, so many that it has not become fashionable to check into rehab. However, when famous entertainers speak about marijuana, it is usually to further illustrate the “crazy time” they had last night. One would generally not lump Drew Carrey into those that toke up, such as Snoop Dog, or Ludacris. The Price is Right host, however, feels that medicinal marijuana should be legalized. Who knew, the big guy’s on our side?

Heroes Fails to MultiplyThe Heroes spinoff that was planned to begin midseason during the Heroes absence has been yanked. Heroes: Origins may have been pulled because of rumors of a writers strike, but the drop in ratings for the show’s second season may have also played into the decision. The series has stopped production until further notice, and may pop up on your TV Guide at an unexpected date in the future, depending both on the Writers Guild of America Strike, and the amount of viewers Heroes can drag in.

Tyra Rocks the VajayjayBanks unveils her “Vagina Dialogue” on November 5. “I have wanted to do this show for two years,” says the amateur gynecologist. She’ll be hosting a professional OB-GYN with a velvet vagina puppet, and take a trip to the doctor’s office.
