Beckham’s Softer SideDavid Beckham rushed to London last Thursday after hearing his father suffered a heart attack. Ted Beckham, 59, was transported to the hospital late Wednesday night after complaining of chest pain. He is currently recovering in an intensive care unit following surgery in the London Chest Hospital. Though Beckham’s arrival to the states was highly anticipated, his initial reason for the move has yet to really be exhibited on the field; Beckham has not played in a soccer match since August 30th.
