Britney wastes three more minutes of human existence Britney Spears has drawn a mixture of criticism and sympathy from tabloids, celebrities, and most of the nine million viewers who witnessed her lethargic performance at the VMAs. The one-time pop icon looked to be moving in slow motion during her horribly lip-synched rendition of uninspiring new single “Gimmie More.”  The girl on girl action was so unconvincing I found myself yearning for the glory days of Tatu.

Aged former rockers throw down The VMAs also provided another classic moment when alleged musicians Kid Rock and Tommy Lee were involved in an altercation. Rock ambushed Lee at his front row seats during a performance by Alicia Keys and punched him without warning.  While many have theorized that the scuffle was over Pamela Anderson it should be stated that Alicia Keys does have a reputation for drawing some pretty rowdy mosh pits.

OJ Simpson book to be published The family of murder victim Ron Goldman appeared on “The Oprah Winfrey Show” last week to discuss their reasoning for deciding to publish OJ Simpson’s hypothetical double homicide confession, “If I Did It,” under the new title “Confessions of a Killer.” The good news is OJ Simpson has finally fulfilled his promise to expose the real killer.

High School wonderful “High School Musical” star Vanessa Hudgens apologized to her fans recently for posing for racy photos that featured the 18-year-old’s naughty parts. In her statement, Hudgens said that she regretted taking the pictures and thanked her fans for their support. Hudgens’ boyfriend Zac Efron was unavailable for comment but his parents said he hasn’t been out of the bathroom for a week.

MySpace whore to become actual whore Who says MySpace is a waste of time? MySpace celebrity Tila Tequila, who has a record setting, two-million-plus friends on the online networking site, has been given her very own bi-sexual dating show. The show called “A Shot at Love with Tila Tequila” will premier Oct. 9 on MTV with 32 men and women vying for Tila’s affection. Ah man, I just thought of Tatu again. Nice.
