Well it’s finally Spring Break and the Mass Media is taking this show on the road to New York City for a journalism conference, so if you need a knish or some bootleg DVDs, let us know befire we leave and we’ll hook you up. Just remember when you’re on Spring Break: Don’t do what Johnny Don’t does. Keep this simple rule in mind, and everything should be copacetic. Also avoid Puerto Rico and especially Mexico, cause there’s some crazy shit going on down there.
If you don’t have plans for the break yet and the recent fee increase has killed any chance you had of getting the hell out of here next week, check out this week’s spread for some ideas for local stuff to do that wont drain your cash. Fun can be had in Boston; believe it.
In News this week, economic wizard Dillon Zhou gives his analysis of the recession-cum-depression and what is to be done about it. Also in News, Ted Kennedy is being knighted; WTF?
In Arts, we have a review of the performing arts departments production of “The Shape of Things”, another great piece of culture on campus that I’m sure most of you missed. Let the review serve as a gentle reminder of what is out there on this campus if you look around a little bit.
In Sports, Men’s hockey came ever so class to capping a Cinderella post-season with a conference crown and a trip to the NCAA’s, but was thwarted by a Babson goal in overtime. It was fun guys, and thanks for a great season. Check out Ryan Thomas’ game story that helps to paint the picture in full.
Enjoy Spring Break!
