Many a time I have stared defeated at the life-less treadmill, fighting desperately against the overwhelming urge to flee the soul crushing gym where people are lined up in neat rows running like hamsters in a wheel. Instead I have happened upon a much more fulfilling way to get some exercising, Bhangra.
Bhangra is a form of Indian dance that originated in Punjab. This high energy dance is fun and exhausting and done to awesome music. The MIT Bhangra club has kindly agreed to come to our campus to give lessons, all we need is participants. So, if you are interested and ready to dance please contact either Stephanie Fail at [email protected] or Emma Franco at [email protected] for more information!
