Carmelo Anthony to the Celtics?

Knicks at Wizards 11/23/13

Carmelo Anthony is an all-star forward for the New York Knicks who is currently struggling to be successful with the team. Anthony was drafted by the Denver Nuggets in 2003 and has failed to win a title with either team. Now that Anthony is in demand for a move, he could be a great addition to our Boston Celtics. The Celtics are in need of another star player to ensure that the Celtics are even stronger.
Anthony is currently averaging 23.1 points per game and also is averaging three assists per game as well. Anthony’s a nine-time All-Star and would perfectly fit in with the Boston Celtics with his skill and his amazing shot ability. If Anthony ends up coming to the Celtics, it would be the team’s best shot at trying to grab that first NBA title due to the lack of a good small forward that the Celtics really need.
The Celtics are currently in second place for the Eastern Conference size and are playing very well with team chemistry, especially led by point guard Isaiah Thomas, who would be a great teammate for Anthony if he were to come to Boston.
It’s apparent that Anthony has no more interest in playing in New York due to the attitude that he brings on the court and the post-game interview attitude that he has towards other players and reporters. The New York Knicks are not doing very well at all; they’re currently in eleventh place in the Eastern Conference with a record of 21 wins 29 losses. The Knicks have failed to make the playoffs in the last three seasons and most likely won’t make it this year, either. It is very hard to discover what the problem is for this team. They were a group of very good players, but they ended up not being what the expected. Four example, they acquired two decent Chicago Bull players and they are still not reaching their full potential, which contributes to why they are losing so much. The problem is either the coaching or the management and that is why Carmelo Anthony wants to leave the team.
Another contributing factor to Carmelo’s failure this season was his failure to make the All-Star team for the first time in six years. The last time he failed to make the All-Star team was in 2009 when he put up similar stats as he did this season.
Anthony is a great player and could be a great addition to any team that wants to sign him.
