Internationally Acclaimed Boston Artist to Have Exhibit at Our Own Harbor Art GalleryThe Harbor Art Gallery invites you to come and explore our newest exhibition Baha by local artist Bren Bataclan. Bren’s new series of acrylic paintings Baha explores the heroism, strength and resilience shared by the Filipino people in the face of natural disaster. The exhibit also includes a collection of Bren’s characters from the Smile Project and his new line of plush toys. For the past seven years Bren has worked on the Smile Project. The work includes a collection of 150 characters that the artist leaves around Boston, free to take as long as you smile at a stranger. Over the years Bren has expanded the project and has brought Smile to over 25 countries and 25 states. Bren’s latest series, Baha, focuses on the recent flood in the Philippines and how people around the world have come together in support of those affected by the disaster. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Red Cross to aid those affected by disaster in the Philippines and Haiti. Please join us Thursday, March 11th 5:00 – 8:00 P.M. in welcoming Bren to our campus. Your continued support helps to sustain the Harbor Art Gallery as well as aid local artists and those affected by the recent disasters in the Philippines and Haiti.
