Voting is one of the easiest ways to ac- tively participate in your government but many do not exercise this right. We de- cided to find out if Umass Boston students were politically minded enough to hit the voting both on November 2nd. One hun- dred students were surveyed and asked if they believed it was necessary to vote. The majority, 75 students, believed it was their duty as citizens to cast a ballot and partici- pate while 25 students were satisfied with being followers or simply felt that their vote didn’t matter.
