The University of Massachusetts Boston, a center of learning in the heart of Dorchester, has been providing a home for students to help advance their knowledge for decades. However, there is more to do at UMass Boston than just studying. Our school has numerous activities and clubs for students to participate in, both for fun and for academic/career advancement. 
University Dining Club
                  Want to dine on campus at something more upscale than the food court? Take a trip to the University Dining Club! Located on the second floor of the Campus Center, the University Dining Club offers a buffet-style lunch with a magnificent view overlooking the Dorchester Bay. Both members and non-members can enjoy a taste of offerings from hot lunch, salad bar, soup, beverages, and, for a nominal extra charge, dessert. Costs for meals at the dining club stands at $8 for members and $12 for non-members.
MakerSpace Lab
                  The MakerSpace Lab, the university’s 3D printing lab, is a hidden gem on the thirdfloor of the Science Building. Want to build an action figure? Maybe you need a model of the Eiffel tower? Stop on by the MakerSpace Lab to place a request to have your idea brought to life using 3D CAD technology. Once designed, the state-of-the-art printers will construct your product to meet your desires. 
Game Room
                  Do you need a place to satisfy the inner child in you? Stop by the Game Room on the upper level of the Campus Center. Video games are in stock and available for you and your friends to compete with each other in a game of your choice. Pool tables are also available. Looking for something a little more relaxing or something that involves skill? Swing by and play one of the board games available.
Art Gallery
                  Located on the first floor of the McCormack Building, the Harbor Gallery is open to all students who want to admire the work of local artists. For over 30 years, the Harbor Gallery has displayed works from artists locally and globally. The gallery is open from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Thursday, during the school year (September – May). Are you an artist interested in submitting your own work? Adaptive Computing Lab
                  The Adaptive Computing Lab (ACL), located on the upper level of the Healy Library, is a state-of-the-art computer lab, providing support to students with disabilities. With the assistance of the staff in the ACL, the ability to operate a computer is beneficial to everyone, mitigating any challenges a student or faculty member would otherwise face. The services provided by the ACL include, but are not limited to: Student Exam Accommodation center, on-going training of adaptive technologies, and evaluation of technology that aids students in completing assignments and tasks.
