I would like to say to the author of “The Socialist Machine is Coming for You,” you may practice your freedom of speech… but with respect to others. I feel this article is feeding people who are not familiar with different types of democracies false information. I am not a communist, but the beauty of living in this country is that I am free to defend it. You called communism “the devil”; are you freaking serious? If communism is a thing straight from hell, what would you call racism or a dictatorship? That’s not the point though, so moving on…

Communism is not “the devil.” If that’s the case, capitalism is the behemoth forsaken by any God you believe in. Communism sounds perfect in theory, but every time it was tried as a government, it turned into some form of dictatorship!

If you compare capitalism and communism side-by-side there are slight differences. In a communistic country, you work and the government gives a reasonable portion over for healthcare, free education, and other benefits. In this country, we get our income but there are taxes: health insurance, education, coffee, water, plumbing…

If you want to warn people, it is best to not just give a biased American view. You should talk from a more accommodating perspective. I understand that it’s an opinion piece, but we, the readers shouldn’t be limited to just your biased and largely uneducated opinion. Rather, we should learn every angle, every aspect of this government style, so that we can make more informed conclusions.

So, ‘Mister-socialism-and-communism-are-evil,’ get your facts straight before you bash other people’s way of living. Everybody sees the world through the same eyes but different lenses. The real devil here is your narrow-minded and myopic view of the world.
