My name is Jeff Sullivan and I hope this email finds you well. I am in the process of putting the final touches on a monthly publication for the South Shore of Boston’s dining and entertainment scene. I’m looking for people that are interested in doing freelance. A background in dining, entertainment reviews is a plus, but not necessary.A little about myself, I grew up in Quincy, and after graduating from University of Iowa I entered into the financial arena. “What is a kid from Quincy doing going to IOWA?” you may ask. Well, it won’t be the first time I’ve heard that question and my answer will somewhat give you some insight as to my wanting to break into the publishing business. My oldest brother went to UMasswhere he majored in English, he then went onto the Iowa Writers Workshop which he won the James Michener Award. Throughout most of his life he acted as most older siblings would and pushed what they believed in. Obviously my brother believes in reading, writing and the wonderful journey that good writing will take you on. I’ve always been a so called “book worm,” the only thing that would champion my reading is my “partying,” and this is how I came up with publishing my monthly. So now that you know a little bit about myself, I would truly be thankful if you could pass this around and see if anyone is looking to get published. It will be a wonderful platform for some young writers to get their careers jump started. Also photographers are needed.I hope to hear back from you. Thank you in advance,
Jeffrey Sullivan
