Dec. 1: An article on Page 1 of last week’s print edition, headlined “Seeing inside my own heartbeat” misidentifies the department affiliation of PhD candidate and researcher João L. Marôco. Marôco works within the department of exercise and health science in the Manning College of Nursing and Health Sciences, not the School for the Environment. In the same article, a photo caption misidentifies the leader of the lab. Marôco leads the research project, but the lab is led by Associate Vice Provost for Graduate Education Tracy Baynard and Manning College of Nursing and Health Sciences Dean Bo Fernhall.
Dec. 17: An article on Page 7 of Issue 7, headlined “University Hall Gallery presents ‘Insight into The Other'” incorrectly referred to the subject of Sandra Johnston’s “Hold In” as a male torso. Johnston is female.
