BOSTON, MA – University of Massachusetts Boston Vice Chancellor for Athletics and Recreational Programs Charlie Titus, who also serves as the Head Men’s Basketball Coach, announced today that the University has promoted Lance Tucker to Associate Head Men’s Basketball Coach. Tucker will assume a greater role in daily practice in terms of preparation and on-court teaching on Titus’ staff. “Lance brings great passion and enthusiasm every day,” said Titus. “Just as important, coach Tucker’s knowledge of the game and tremendous ability to impart that knowledge to young athletes is an asset that must be employed to the benefit of our entire program.”
