At the beginning of the season the UMass Boston women’s soccer team was in dire need of a goalie.
11 games into the season and they just might have found one in Junior Michelle Cain.
After recording her first shutout of her career on September 29 against Becker, Cain recorded her second only 4 days later against Eastern Connecticut. She has now extended her consecutive minutes without a goal allowed streak to 312:18.
Cain also currently leads the LEC in goals against average and save percentage.
