On August 30th at approximately 8:40 pm a UMass Boston student was attacked and robbed by five men on the UMass Boston Bayside (former Expo Center) property. The UMass student was making his way to his apartment in the Harbor Point Apartment Complex. As he reached the south side entrance five male assailants forced the student to the ground and began beating him. Displaying a knife they demanded his belongings. After taking what they could they fled. The student managed to reach his apartment building and contected authorities who are handling now handling the investigation.
