Okay, so this might be a little crazy but there have been 6 sightings of a unicorn in Wheatley! They all describe a horse with white fur, a white mane and an iridescent horn. Another common experience with all of the incidents is that the room filled with this glittery fog that smelled like roses. Could there be a unicorn living in the halls of Wheatley?
Here is a first hand experience from a first year student named Christian Kelper. “So, I was just trying to get to class and all of a sudden the room started to fill with shiny smoke! The strangest thing was that I thought I was hearing a horse walk but there was no way that was happening. I mean come on! But then I saw it. A big white unicorn comes out. And I mean, the horn was shiny! It was as if it had a ray of sunshine on it at all times.” Luckily, Christian was not afraid of the creature, but the next person I interviewed was not so happy about seeing such a magical creature.
The next person I spoke to said he had been with two other people when he saw it. He did ask me to keep his name out of the paper and I agreed. I asked the other two for responses and they both declined to speak with me. “Being afraid of horses makes seeing a horse with a killer horn way worse. The first thing we noticed about the place was the smell. It was like someone planted a bunch of f****** roses. I looked to [friend] and told him the next time he went home with a girl not to use her damn perfume. That is when the glittery fog started to roll in. That f******* fog made me think that someone laced my food or something, but the others saw it too. That’s when the f****** monster emerged from the shadows. It’s big head and sharp horn. I ran. I ran all the way to Quinn and I have not gone back to that building.”
So, there’s this unicorn on the loose and I still haven’t seen it. I decided to camp out in Wheatley over winter break with my friend Miki. We packed enough food to feed us for a month, sleeping gear, and protection. We made our base one of the lounges an we would spend our free time there. We started to lose hope after the second week because we had not seen the creature sense. The other two had to be crazy, right? That was, until one day we were out looking for the unicorn and I smelled roses. We then followed the scent and we fell upon a stairwell that was covered in glittery fog. We were going to see it! We quietly snuck up the stairs, with Miki holding her camera, and we followed the fog. It sounded like a horse walking down the hall. We creeped closer and there it was, the unicorn. Its fur was so white it was almost blinding and its horn was gorgeous. It was the same color of an opal stone but much more beautiful. Miki was even able to take a picture of it before it saw us and ran off. I still remember the sounds of its hooves hitting the ground as it disappeared into the depths of Wheatley.
