Throughout their college careers, many students make it through tough times by looking forward to one event: graduation. On Wednesday, December 19, 2001, 61 bachelor of science candidates and six master of science candidates realized this dream when years of hard work culminated in UMass Boston’s College of Nursing and Health Sciences’ Winter Convocation, held in the Lipke Auditorium in the UMB Science Center.

Following an introduction by Marion E. Winfrey, the Mistress of Ceremonies; Jacqeline Benoit, Pamela Campanale, Michael Denaro, Catherine Dewey, Kelly Fitzpatrick, and Catherine Saniuk were recognized as master of science candidates by Dean Brenda Cherry and Graduate Program directors, Dr. Jane Cloutterbuck and Dr. Joan Garity.
