Boston Calling on Sunday was cloudy but clear of rain, making it the only day of the weekend without showers.

I Don’t Know How But They Found Me, a project by Dallon Weekes, performed at 3:15pm. The band’s set was an absolute blast as well. Weekes performed songs from his current project such as “Razzmatazz,” and a throwback song, “Visitation of the Ghost” by his earlier band The Brobecks. Later, he paced up and down the stage singing “Please Please Please” by Sabrina Carpenter and “Hot To Go” by Chappell Roan into a megaphone.

Public Enemy attracted a crowd to the Blue Stage with their provocative political lyrics and Celtics jerseys. After encouraging the crowd to pray for Celtics player Jayson Tatum’s recent injury, the duo of Flavor Flav and Chuck D bounced around the stage singing some of their biggest hits. With pictures of headlines and Civil Rights leaders flashing behind them, Public Enemy’s set was a mix of educated and energetic.

As the festival’s last act, Dave Matthews Band finished out the evening with a jamming acoustic rock set on the Green Stage, beginning with their hit song, “Tripping Billies.” Audience members are dancing, singing, and sharing drinks and laughs as the night is nearing a close.

Rain or shine, attendees in ponchos filled the grounds Saturday for the busiest day of the Boston Calling Music Festival. The event’s second day started off with leftover rain from the day before, but the worst was gone by 4 p.m.

Sofia Isella kicked off the afternoon with a beautiful performance on the Green Stage at 1:30 p.m. Srisley, a Korean pianist who recently graduated from Berklee College of Music, took over the Arena from 2-3:30 p.m. with her bandmates, Gudy Prada and Ludwig Izaguirre. She enlightened the crowd with her passion for Latin-American music, which showed in her band’s performance of “From Within” by Michel Camilo. The trio had a phenomenal harmony, all complimenting each other’s sound through the music.

Day three of Boston Calling is off to a great start and the lack of rain today is allowing attendees to enjoy it to the fullest.

The day started with a press tasting with Tasty Burger which happened to be one of the best burgers I’ve ever had. After a quick chat and photo opportunity, I Don’t Know How But They Found Me performed at the Blue Stage. In addition to songs of his own, frontman Dallon Weekes paced up and down the stage singing “Please Please Please” by Sabrina Carpenter and “Hot To Go” by Chappell Roan. Stay tuned for coverage on Remi Wolf, Sublime, and Dave Matthews Band at the end of the day.

The past few hours have been fast paced and electric. Somerville girl band “sidebody” rocked the Orange Stage with costumes custom made by a local designer. Their provocative rock music energized the crowd and set them apart from most in the current music scene.

All Time Low and Cage The Elephant played back to back at the Green Stage. Crowds for both performances extended back through the entire field with people standing and sitting to watch the show. One attendee brought what appears to be a large stalk of wheat and waved it around during both sets in different parts of the audience.

We enjoyed dinner from New England Provisions and dessert from Blackbird Doughnuts.

Now playing are Avril Lavigne on the Green Stage and the Black Crowes on the Blue stage. Fall Out Boy will finish out the evening on the Green Stage at 8:55 p.m.

The rain finally cleared up, allowing the rest of the day to be more thoroughly enjoyed. Boston local rock band PINKLIDS rocked the Orange Stage at 2:55 p.m. Equipped with a smoke machine and energetic stage personalities, the band’s excitement could be heard down the path to the stage.

Sally’s Apizza supplied press with blackened crusted pizza and hot honey chicken wings served with peppercorn ranch, which were absolutely delicious and a great pick-me-up.

Day two started off rainy with promises of clear skies by 4 p.m. Festivalgoers draped in ponchos began filling the grounds immediately when doors opened at 1 p.m. Saturday.

The Boston Calling Music Festival kicked off its first day at 1 p.m. Friday at the Harvard Athletic Complex in Cambridge.

The festival features performances at four stages on different parts of the grounds. The Green Stage and the Allianz Blue Stage host the main acts, while local artists control the Orange Stage and the Arena hosts student acts from Berklee College of Music. The performances are staggered, making it easy to catch a little bit of everything.

Rain or shine, the show goes on! Even as May showers rained down on Boston Calling this afternoon, the attendance more than doubled since the early afternoon.

Berklee College of Music freshman Su Yavuz lit up the Arena with an upbeat jazz set. Her angelic vocals and melodic piano playing filled the Arena with smooth jazz and cheers from viewers. Trumpet player Noah Allen also kept the room alive with expert performance reminiscent of early jazz legends. Latrell James kept the crowd alive at the Orange Stage, encouraging audience participation and calling his sister onstage to sing with him. James brought it all to Boston Calling — an exciting set list, a charming stage personality and his mom, who he credits for his success.

Correction May 24: Su Yavuz is a freshman at the Berklee College of Music who performed with fellow student performers, not a band from the same school.

I started off the day’s festival bites with a Hot Honey Grilled Cheese from Roxy’s Grilled Cheese, which was the perfect balance of buttery toast, three different cheeses and applewood smoked bacon with hot honey. As expected from a Boston festival, the Dunkin’ line is the longest line for any booth on the grounds.

Holy Roller, a Southern rock band from Richmond, Virginia stole the stage with their soulful vocals and stomp-and-clap country at 2:10 p.m. They were followed by Boston local band Dalton & The Sheriffs, who began their set with a member of their band announcing that when they were called in to perform, “I was at a gym class two hours ago.”

The sudden move was due to the absence of the band TLC due to an “unexpected medical circumstance,” according to a Boston Calling Instagram post.

The Mass Media has touched down at the Harvard Athletic Complex for Day one of Boston Calling. The air is chilly but the sun has been surprising us with warmth every so often. The green is lined with large merch tents, a Dunkin’ booth designed after a vintage diner and a long strip of hot, fresh food vendors ready to fill stomachs.

There are performances throughout the day at four stages: The main Green Stage and the Allianz Blue Stage will host the main acts, while local artists will play the Orange Stage. The Arena has acts straight from Berklee College of Music. Expect coverage throughout the day of many of these acts, including Holy Roller, T-Pain, and Su Yavuz as well as food reviews, interviews, and more.

Boston Calling is shaking it up this year: local artists and students will now play alongside headliners Luke Combs, Fall Out Boy and Dave Matthews Band, “furthering the festival’s continued tradition of showcasing area music tale,” according to a press release. The festival will be held from May 23 to 25 at the Harvard Athletic Complex

In a brand-new partnership with Berklee College of Music, Boston Calling will feature student jazz musicians in the on-site indoor arena of the festival. The arena itself is a comfortable retreat from the chaos of the rest of the festival, providing a perfect opportunity to enjoy the students’ art.
