According to the United Nations, over 13,000 children have been killed in the war in Gaza, with 786 being under the age of one. In addition, the organization Save the Children estimates that over 20,000 Gazan children are missing — lost to their families, detained or buried beneath the rubble or in unmarked mass graves.
At a campaign rally, Donald Trump asserted: “When I’m president we will not allow our colleges to be taken over by violent radicals, and if you come here from another country and try to bring jihadism or anti-Americanism or antisemitism to our campuses we will immediately deport you.”
After violence erupted at a white supremacist rally in Charlottesville, Virginia in 2017, President Trump condemned the neo-Nazis and white supremacists, while also stating that there “were very fine people on both sides.”
Apparently, Trump is not capable of offering that same level of respect to the multitude of college protestors who are deeply concerned about crimes against humanity and Palestinian human rights.
