Riley served as copyeditor for The Mass Media in the Spring 2022 and Fall 2022 semesters. She was promoted to Head Copyeditor for The Mass Media in Spring 2023 and served until the end of the Spring 2024 semester. Hammond left her position to become Editor-in-Chief of The Waterfront, UMass Boston’s student-led magazine funded by The Mass Media for her senior year.
