Elijah Horwath

Elijah Horwath, Managing Editor

Elijah (he/him) is a double major in biochemistry and classical languages graduating in 2027, and is considering an accelerated master’s in applied linguistics, as well as pursuing a PhD in herpetology. Passionate about journalism, he began working at The Mass Media as an opinions editor in 2023, where he mainly covered local and international politics. When he became managing editor in 2024, he took a step back from writing opinions, although he still focuses on civil rights and restorative justice on campus. Besides writing of all kinds, he enjoys hiking, rock-climbing and knitting.
