Joshua Levin, Managing Editor
Joshua Levin (he/him) is an award-winning student journalist who covers breaking news and legal affairs as The Mass Media’s managing editor. A sophomore majoring in communication, Josh is in his sixth year as a student journalist, previously serving as editor in chief of The Shakerite until he joined The Mass Media as news editor in 2024. Stories he broke were later reported by outlets including The Boston Globe, The Plain Dealer, Scene Magazine and affiliates of ABC, CBS, NBC, Fox and Cox Media in Boston and Cleveland. The Society of Professional Journalists recognized Josh as a finalist for its 2025 Region 1 Mark of Excellence Award for Breaking News Reporting. He also received an award from the SPJ Cleveland Pro Chapter in 2024.
