MBTA Transit Police Department called to let Campus Safety know that a disorderly individual had boarded a shuttle bus to campus. Officers located turned the party over to transit police.

A student fought with a bus driver. Officers were called to the scene.

Several people in an office in the Campus Center complained that a car was parked and running outside the office door. Those in the office could not see anybody in the car. They also stated that they could smell fumes from the vehicle in their work area. Officers discovered a woman sleeping in the car, and asked her to turn the vehicle around so that the fumes would not disturb office workers.

A piece of yellow pipe was left lying on the ground in the Clark Lot. A car rolled over the pipe, slashing the tire.

Someone got locked in an elevator in the Science Building and had to be let out.

A suspicious white male in a black jacket took photographs and video of nearby women, as well as some buildings on campus. A witness stated that the party did not appear to be a student and was not wearing a backpack. The witness snapped a photograph of the suspect and shared that photograph with Campus Safety. Officers tried to locate the suspect at JFK/UMass Station, but could not find him.

A student requested that the lock be cut off her locker. Before officers destroyed the lock, she was able to open it with her combination.

A vandal smashed the window of a car parked in the South Lot. The owner of the vehicle stated that nothing had been stolen and that she did not know why anybody would deliberately damage her car.

A vehicle struck a pedestrian in Lot D. An ambulance took the pedestrian to Carney Hospital.

A student in the Clark Lot reported that she felt ill and nauseous. Emergency personnel treated the student, but she refused to go to the emergency room.

A man tried to enter the Beacon Fitness Center but was turned away because he did not have a sticker on his ID. The man then tried to sneak into the gym and was caught. He continued to to stay in the area until officers asked him to leave.

Someone stole a wallet from the Beacon Fitness Center.
3/15/2013 5:52 p.m.
The driver of a car on University Drive backed into a bus and then fled. Witnesses wrote down the car’s license plate number, and the driver will be charged with a hit-and-run. The bus driver called from a tow truck.
3/15/2013 8:27 p.m.
A teenager in the Upward Bound program tried to run away and then physically harmed herself. An ambulance transported her to Boston Medical Center.
