Women’s soccer player Kristin Mulry is the Star You See this week.

Mulry, a freshman forward, scored two goals (including the game-winner) last Tuesday in her first LEC playoff action. Mulry’s scoring helped the Lady Beacons advance past the UMass Dartmouth Corsairs, 4-0, in the LEC quarterfinals.

The two goals bring her season point total to 29, the highest mark in Lady Beacon history since Shannon Murphy scored 42 in 1997. Mulry was also the first player in the last three years to record a hat trick for the Lady Beacons, doing so against Wheelock on October 9.

The Hingham High School product netted nearly 32% of her shots this season, tops on the squad. Her season total of 14 goals is the highest-ever for a Lady Beacon freshman.
