I must express my disappointment with Jennie Traschen, a University of Massachusetts professor. An article on www.cnn.com quoted her as saying the American Flag is a symbol of oppression and terrorism. These are sickening remarks from an American citizen. It is especially disturbing to hear this from someone who has ear of students in a University setting. In a time when America should be showing unity she takes this chance to draw attention to herself for such (for lack of a better term) stupid remarks. The Stars and Stripes symbolize her freedom that so many American’s have died for. In my opinion she is spitting on their graves. Well DR Traschen, it is America and you can have your say but now I’ve had mine.
