Police Blotter: Nov. 12, 2009

Sunday, October 18th 12:02pm – Base police officers helped local police block off flooded areas on Bianculli Blvd behind campus and guide traffic in the rain.3:54pm – A barrier arm by a parking booth in the Beacons lot near the Clark Athletic Center broke off. The damage is still under investigation. Police assume someone broke it with their bumper, but won’t go into specifics.Monday, October 19th3:30pm – Someone complained of chest pains in Health Services and base police escorted an ambulance on campus to bring the person the New England Medical Center.Tuesday, October 20th3:50pm – A man hit a tree with his car on Bianculli Blvd. No one was injured. Police helped the man get his car towed. There was no indication as to whether alcohol or other substances were a afctor, but according to police the incident is still under investigation.4:07pm – Police assisted state police with an accident that happened at the lights on Morrissey Blvd. No one was injured.4:37pm – A man was wandering around in the woman’s bathroom in the Utility Building. The guy said he was confused and was spoken to, but the woman who found him there didn’t buy it. She filed a harassment report on him, and both parties went their separate ways.4:39pm – A man in the Administration Building was behaving inappropriately enough that someone called campus police on him. The police were not able/willing to disclose what his inappropriate behavior was, and unfortunately the guy fled the scene before they arrived.Wednesday, October 21st12:56pm – A bus driver called campus police when a disturbance began escalating on his bus. Police met the bus at the Campus Center. They escorted the people causing the disturbance out of the bus and talked to them.

Friday, October 23rd1:11pm – A woman kept getting annoying phone calls on her cell phone. She filed a report with campus police, and the investigation is still open.Monday, October 26th10:57pm – Someone’s office was burglarized in the McCormack building. They filed a report with police, and the burglary is still under investigation.4:30pm – Someone was looking suspicious in the library. Librarians called the police, but the person left before they arrived.
