“Drawing and painting have always been an important part of my life. The act or process of putting down lines or color has managed to keep my attention for over 30 years. It has only been in the last few years as an “art” student that I feel like I have done any work worth calling my own. For me, it is more important to paint well than to simply create good paintings. So, at the moment, I feel I have only managed to find a vague path to follow without knowing full well what lies over the next hill.”
