“What’s most interesting about these prints is that it is hard to discern what exactly you are looking at. Some images provide no hints at all, while in others you can see charred remains of windowsills and doorways. My girlfriend’s house burned down July of last year. Sheallowed me to go inside what remained of the house to shoot this project. Despite being such a tragedy, it was an incredible environment to shoot in. I’d like to thank Melissa and Kevin for technical help, and the Monaco family for allowing me to document such a personal experience.”
