I am interested in advertising with your college paper. More specifically, I would like to know if you would consider trade advertising. Basically, we would place standby advertising with you on a barter system. In return for print/online advertising we would trade space on our cruises.

We have been sailing unique, tall ships to the Caribbean for more than 50 years. Please take a moment to look at our website www.windjammer.com to see who we are and get a better idea of what we do.

Use our program:

• As a prize to drive subscriptions.

• As an incentive for your team.

• As a reward or prize for school fundraising events.

• As a vacation for yourself or loved ones.

• As a way to draw attention. Our advertising art is colorful, exciting and stimulating.

Here’s how our trade program works:

• Run our ads only when you have excess space due to an unexpected cancellation or when you have remnant space.

• Payment will be made in Windjammer scrip (sample enclosed).

• Windjammer will pay according to your rate card – no need to discount for frequency.

• Take a cruise for as little as 1,000.00 in trade.

• We can also talk about working on a promotional basis trading a fixed number of cruises for a special promotion.

• We ask that you limit billings to 12,000.00 yearly. Agreements expire 12/01/07 and may be cancelled at any time by either party so long as cancellation is in writing.
